To support the development of Queensland indigenous practitioners to refine their skills to a level where they can create and produce their own projects and where there is a pool of skilled indigenous screen practitioners based in Queensland. Applicants are encouraged to discuss their application with the relevant Project Manager prior to submitting an application to Screen Queensland. What will we support?Project development and production funding, in any format, for any platform. On a case by case basis, travel and marketing applications will also be considered. Who may apply?Queensland based indigenous writers, producers/production companies and directors. How will we select projects?Projects will be assessed, internally and/or externally, dependent on the needs of the project. Professional development and skills training will be a priority in selection. How much will be provided and in what form?Depending on the requirements of the project and practitioners, the amount to be invested is at the discretion of Screen Queensland and will be in line with previous investment in this area and is subject to availability of funding at the time of application.
