| Thursday, 09 February 2012 |
Applications for funding are now open, closing Friday 2 March 2012 for events taking place in the year commencing 1 July 2012.
The Screen Queensland Board has approved amendments to the Screen Culture funding programme for 2012-13, following consultation with industry. The revised programme is now available on the website here. Screen Culture funding supports events and projects based in Queensland or linked with Queensland organisations and practitioners (in any format or on any platform) such as: • film festivals and screenings at public events, particularly in Queensland regional areas, events that are designed to participate in activity related to the Brisbane International Film Festival and niche film events that are seeking support to build their audiences; • visits by leading filmmakers and projects of significance to screen practitioners that foster debate, discussion and peer contact. Please visit the Screen Queensland website for more information on the program, and to download our application form on our forms and resources page.
