The Creative Industries Skills Council is a not-for-profit industry body run by a Board of business people from the creative industries. The Skill Council's Board Directors have a keen interest in ensuring that creative industries remain competitive in a global economy through best skills development practices.
The Skills Council has an extensive network of:
• Individual businesses, industry and community organisations,
• Public and private registered training organisations,
• State, local and federal government departments and authorities.
The Creative Industries Skills Council is the lead agency facilitating skills development in the Creative Industries. Our role involves working collaboratively with organisations to develop and formulate vocational education and training plans to ensure businesses continue to grow and contribute positively to Queensland's economic growth.
