OUR COMMITMENT TO SERVICEThe Screen Queensland Service Charter outlines our commitment to providing excellent standards of service and to building partnerships in the screen industry in Queensland, interstate and internationally. Accessibility, fairness and transparency are the values that form the foundation of Screen Queensland’s activities and Terms of Trade. This service charter sets out what you can expect from us in the delivery and administration of our programmes, and how we communicate with each other to stay informed and to build stronger relationships and a stronger screen industry. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR PARTNERSScreen Queensland prides itself on the consideration, professionalism and courtesy of all staff in our dealings with each other and the screen industry. We expect the same level of courtesy, professionalism and consideration from our partners. To ensure a timely and efficient application process, we expect you to:
OUR OPERATIONSScreen Queensland comprises the following units: DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION administers various funding programmes for development, production, marketing, production attraction and scouting, and industry networking. SCREEN CULTURE administers a programme to fund screen events in Queensland and presents festivals and awards including the flagship cinema event the Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF). COMMUNICATIONS handles communications activities for Screen Queensland including media enquiries and releases, website and news, and promoting Screen Queensland’s activities and industry networking. CORPORATE administers the corporate and financial activities of Screen Queensland. GENERAL OFFICE DETAILSHOURS OF OPERATION: We are available in person, by phone and email from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, except on public holidays. ELECTRONIC ACCESS: Programme guidelines, applications forms, policies, frequently asked questions, corporate publications, news and updates are all available on our website at www.screenqueensland.com.au. CONTACTS: General contact details for each unit and a full list of Screen Queensland staff and board members is available on our website. STAYING CONNECTED WITH OUR SCREEN INDUSTRY PARTNERSINDUSTRY EVENTS: Whenever and wherever possible, senior management and professional staff will be present and available at major screen events and festivals attended by our partners. We will participate on selected industry panels relevant to our goals and objectives. INDUSTRY NEWS: We will provide electronic updates via our website, newsletter and email alerts to interested subscribers on Screen Queensland programmes and activities, funding approvals and news relevant to the Queensland screen industry. CONSULTATIONS: As per out terms of trade, we will consult with the industry on an annual basis on Screen Queensland’s programmes. YOUR CONCERNSIf problems arise, we invite you to discuss your concerns with us by contacting the senior manager in the relevant area (Screen Culture, Development and Production, Communications, and Corporate).
