Arts Minister Rachel Nolan announced this year's Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) as an outstanding success. Ms Nolan said the 2011 Brisbane International Film Festival had seen strong growth in its 20th year, experiencing a 25 per cent lift in box office sales from 2010 figures, and a 13 per cent increase in overall attendance.

Screen Queensland welcomes new BIFF team member with appointment of Screen Culture Marketing Manager | Print |

Screen Queensland is delighted to announce the appointment of a Marketing Manager in the Screen Culture unit, reporting to Head of Screen Culture Richard Moore.

Sarah Ward will join the organisation on 1 March 2011 and will be responsible for the marketing of the Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) and BIFF Film Club, and other Screen Culture programmes and activities.

Following a successful year in its new November timeslot, Brisbane International Film Festival will be in November next year, from 3 to 13 November 2011, BIFF Festival Director and Head of Screen Culture at Screen Queensland Richard Moore announced today.
